Hello, Vietnam!

Hi there! So sorry about the late Vietnam blog post but I have been extremely busy with school and work so I didn’t get a chance to share with you guys my trip to Vietnam until today. I’ve been to Vietnam a couple of times before, but was never able to go during Tết (Lunar New Year) until this year. I stayed in my hometown of Biên Hòa for two nights to spend time with my family, and then I traveled to Ho Chi Minh City for the remainder of my trip. I was thrilled to be in Vietnam for Tết, but if any of you guys plan on traveling to Vietnam during the Lunar New Year, I would suggest going a few days before because everything is closed for Tết and still closed a few days after that, so there were a lot of shops that weren’t open. Because I’ve been to Vietnam before, I spent my days there visiting different coffee shops, went to the Bến Thành Market, and ate lots and lots of pho! I love that you can get delicious, authentic pho at any pho stand on the streets. My top things to do in Ho Chi Minh City would be The War Remnants Museum, Bến Thành Market, Chả Cá Lã Vọng restaurant, Tân Định Catholic Church, and get pho at a pho stand!

New York City makes a girl giddy

Hey guys! I recently traveled to New York City to visit my two sisters who live in Manhattan. NYC is my favorite city of all time so I try to go there at least 2-3 times a year. The first thing I do when I visit New York City is walk through Central Park and stop at Bethesda Fountain. It’s so beautiful and grand and definitely a Central Park attraction. We also went on a row boat through Central Park where my boyfriend eventually crashed us into a tree, haha! Besides that, it was really fun and a great way to view the city. Before I leave Central Park, I never forget to stop by the Nuts 4 Nuts stand and pick up some honey roasted almonds because they are the best thing ever!! NYC has the best restaurants and you should never go to the same place twice how many options they have. I also love all their amazing street food! The city is filled with traffic and chaos, but it keeps me coming back for more!
