Hi there! So sorry about the late Vietnam blog post but I have been extremely busy with school and work so I didn’t get a chance to share with you guys my trip to Vietnam until today. I’ve been to Vietnam a couple of times before, but was never able to go during Tết (Lunar New Year) until this year. I stayed in my hometown of Biên Hòa for two nights to spend time with my family, and then I traveled to Ho Chi Minh City for the remainder of my trip. I was thrilled to be in Vietnam for Tết, but if any of you guys plan on traveling to Vietnam during the Lunar New Year, I would suggest going a few days before because everything is closed for Tết and still closed a few days after that, so there were a lot of shops that weren’t open. Because I’ve been to Vietnam before, I spent my days there visiting different coffee shops, went to the Bến Thành Market, and ate lots and lots of pho! I love that you can get delicious, authentic pho at any pho stand on the streets. My top things to do in Ho Chi Minh City would be The War Remnants Museum, Bến Thành Market, Chả Cá Lã Vọng restaurant, Tân Định Catholic Church, and get pho at a pho stand!
